Standard Delivery & Reporting. With over thirteen years' experience as F5 contractors, we know the requirements and configurations are endless. Standard Delivery and Reporting is the delivery core: everything you need to build, run and report on F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM) application delivery, from load balancing and traffic management to iRules, analytics and platform work, delivered as project or operational requests. The examples below are exactly that: examples of the main kinds of work we do, not a fixed menu. If it involves Local Traffic, network or system configuration, it is included, and every LTM scenario is covered.
Standard Delivery & Reporting
Examples grouped by type. These are real examples of the kind of work you can send: illustrative, not a fixed menu. If it is SDR-shaped work, it fits in your queue.
In practice, if the work lives in the System, Network or Local Traffic tab of the BIG-IP configuration utility, it belongs in your SDR queue. The examples below just show the shape of that work.
Stand up a new VIP end to end: the pool, health monitors, SSL and other profiles and persistence, then test it against real traffic before it goes live, documented.
Deploy or refactor an application using an AS3 declaration, so the config is repeatable, source-controlled and easy to roll back.
Design an active/standby or active/active HA pair and prove it with a written failover test plan, not just a config.
Build or migrate VIPRION or VELOS platforms, whether moving onto, between or away from them: blades, vCMP guests or tenant layouts, ready for delivery work.
Provision a new BIG-IP VE in AWS, Azure or GCP: sized, licensed and networked, ready to take applications.
When a failover isn't clean, we trace the issue across the HA pair, config sync, failover communications and connection mirroring, find the cause, fix it and document what went wrong.
Write a new iRule for a specific behaviour, or fix one that isn't doing what it should, tested against real requests before it ships.
Take a poorly performing VIP, its profiles, persistence, OneConnect and offload configuration, and tune it, with a before-and-after comparison to show the difference.
A defined change: add a node, adjust a monitor, change a profile or pool member, made carefully and documented.
Renew, deploy or reorganise SSL certificates and client and server SSL profiles for an application, without an outage.
Turn on AVR and produce a traffic and performance baseline for an application, so you can see what normal looks like.
Build a report or view that answers a specific question the business is asking about traffic, errors or performance.
The shorter the commitment, the more flexible the price. The half-yearly rate is the standard, matching how F5 work is normally contracted.
| Monthly | Quarterly | Half-yearlystandard rate | Yearly | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SDRStandard Delivery & Reporting | £13,500 | £12,825 | £12,150 | £11,475 |
Guide price. Each monthly figure is the maximum: it assumes every billable day in a normal month is worked, about 22, at the equivalent day rate. Approxee bills per available day, so any week not worked is not charged; see the availability calendar. Prices in GBP, exclude VAT. Commit longer, pay less: 5% off quarterly, 10% off half-yearly, 15% off yearly.
