Subscribe to a bundle. Send requests. Work gets done.

You subscribe to a bundle that matches your estate, then send requests, the work you would otherwise hire a day-rate contractor for. Approxee executes them through a queue you can see and reorder at any time.

The bundles

Four bundles. Each higher bundle includes everything in the previous one.

Pick the coverage that matches your estate. Every bundle is cumulative, you never lose what the lower tier gave you.

See exactly when we're available.

Every planned day off for the next six months is published up front, and the next 45 days are always firm. Honest availability, no hidden downtime, and time off is never billed.

View availability calendar

Market rates, better value. The same monthly cost as bringing in a contractor, for a service a contractor cannot match.

  • No recruitment or interviews
  • Start in days, not months
  • Pause when you are quiet
  • One fixed price, no expenses or IR35
  • A 401-certified engineer, every request documented

Why EDS? It is the bundle most teams subscribe to: the full LTM delivery core plus ASM / aWAF, covering the public-facing applications most estates protect first.

These are guide prices. Each monthly figure is the maximum for a full month. Approxee bills per available day, so any weeks not worked are not charged and the actual month can be lower. See the availability calendar for the next six months.

Each bundle includes everything in the lower level bundle.

How the queue works

One engineer. Your queue. Your priorities.

Send as many requests as you like, there is no limit. Approxee works them one at a time, each one finished, verified and documented, in the order you set.

You queue the work

The work you would hand a contractor, you send to Approxee instead: BAU changes, architecture or project delivery. Reorder the queue whenever priorities change.

Approxee works it

One request in progress at a time, so nothing is half-done. Each is completed and written up before the next begins, and your estate records improve with every one.

Full pricing

Every price published in full.

Commit longer, pay less: 5% off quarterly, 10% off half-yearly, 15% off yearly. The half-yearly rate is the standard, and it matches how F5 work is normally contracted.

Guide prices. Each monthly figure is the maximum: it assumes every billable day in a normal month is worked, about 22, at the equivalent day rate. Approxee bills per available day, so any week not worked is not charged; see the availability calendar. Prices in GBP, exclude VAT. Approxee's own prices; your agency adds its margin transparently on top.
Built-in flexibility

Come and go as the work demands.

A contract can run for a year while you call off one month at a time. Nothing is wasted, and nothing about your estate leaves with a departing contractor.

  • Pause any forthcoming month with one week's notice before month-end.
  • Bank months you've paid for but not used, use them later. The commitment remains with your agency.
  • Return anytime. Your designs and architecture are retained; passwords never are, so there's no second onboarding.
  • The same engineer every time, the person who did last quarter's work answers this quarter's question.
What counts as a request

A single, well-defined piece of work with a clear finish line.

Statable in a sentence or two: the outcome wanted, and how both sides know it's done. It fits in roughly three working days of effort. Bigger work is split into consecutive requests, nothing is refused, big work just occupies more queue.

Big or undefined work

"Migrate the data centre" isn't one request. We can do it in stages.

Large or undefined requirements aren't refused, they're planned. Approxee dedicates time to breaking them down into request-sized pieces you can feed into your queue.

Investigate

Approxee reviews the current estate, how the boxes actually are today.

Design & plan

A written design requirement and a plan to get from here to the outcome.

Split into packages

The work is split into request-sized packages, or fixed-price packages where they fit the menu.

Back to you

The breakdown returns to you; you feed the packages into your queue or buy them fixed-price.

Nothing is refused except monitoring, that's a managed service, and Approxee isn't one.

Procurement will ask

Frequently asked questions.

Is this a managed service?
No. Approxee doesn't monitor your estate, hold your keys, or carry an uptime SLA. It's a virtual contractor: you send defined requests and they get done. Your team keeps ownership and control at all times.
What if I don't need you every month?
Pause any forthcoming month with a week's notice before month-end, and bank months you've paid for but not used. A year-long contract can be called off one month at a time.
Is the service available every working day?
Not quite, and it works the same as any contractor. Days off, and full weeks off for holidays, will be needed. All planned time off is published at least 45 days in advance on the availability calendar, so the next 45 days are always firm. Because Approxee bills per available day, any time not worked is never charged.
What happens when my request is bigger than expected?
It's split. Approxee investigates, writes a plan, and breaks the work into request-sized packages you feed into your queue, or fixed-price packages where they fit. Nothing is refused except monitoring.
Who actually does the work?
A 401-certified F5 engineer (F5 Certified Solution Expert, Security). To keep quality high, Approxee serves a maximum of three subscribing clients at any time.
How do we buy this, procurement will ask?
Through recruitment agencies already on your preferred supplier list. Approxee rides your existing procurement rails; the agency handles invoicing and adds its margin transparently on top of the published prices.
What if all slots are full?
The waitlist opens, and you're first in line when a slot frees. In the meantime, the fixed-price services remain available for one-off jobs.
Three slots, ever

Ready to take a slot?

Approxee serves a maximum of three subscribing clients. When they're full, the waitlist opens.
